INSURANCE AR SPECIALIST - This full-time position involves analyzing and reprocessing denials for both medical and vision payer balances in a variety of EHR systems. Refile or appeal claims, correct posting errors, identify trends, and communicate findings to management as requested. Communicate with clients and call team to obtain necessary data as needed. SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS Must have a thorough understanding of the full revenue cycle - insurance filing, reimbursement and denial resolution process AND a minimum of 2 years' experience working in the optometry industry - billing experience strongly preferred. Must be: • A go-getter/problem-solver that thrives in a fast pace. • Detail-oriented, analytical, resourceful and organized. • Able to identify, assess, research and resolve complex issues. • Flexible. Able to self-prioritize, work independently and multi-task under pressure. • A strong oral and written communicator. • Professional and dependable. A true teamplayer. • Proficient in MS Office - especially Excel. • EHR experience strongly preferred in at least one of the following: MyVisionExpress, Compulink, Crystal, Revolution, Officemate, Maximeyes • Able to quickly and efficiently maneuver the internet. • Flexible to quickly master new software and systems.
