Position Details:
• Title: Middle School Math Teacher
• Location: Zion, IL (20 minute drive from Gurnee, IL)
• Start/End Dates: August 20, 2025 – June 1, 2026
• Hours: Full-time | 37.5 hours/week | Monday–Friday
• Rate: Hourly rate TBD (based on experience), with full benefits package included
• Employment Type: W-2 Contract
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver dynamic and effective math instruction to middle school students in accordance with state and district standards
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and assessments
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes critical thinking and academic growth
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure student success
• Maintain consistent communication with students, families, and staff regarding academic progress
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with Middle Grades Mathematics endorsement (required)
• Experience with curriculum design, lesson planning, and differentiated instruction
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment
