Job SummaryWhat is the opportunity?As an Inside Wholesaler, you will prospect and cultivate new relationships and enhance existing relationships with insurance advisors, with the goal of increasing the sales of RBC Insurance products for one of the territories within the Western region.Please apply if you are Life licensed (LLQP) and reside within driving distance of Vancouver.Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?As an Inside Wholesaler, you will prospect and cultivate new relationships and enhance existing relationships with insurance advisors, with the goal of increasing the sales of RBC Insurance products for one of the territories within the Western region.Please apply if you are Life licensed (LLQP) and reside within driving distance of Vancouver.What will you do?Partner with Sales Consultant to establish a strategic business plan for the territory with defined sales targetsProactively contact insurance advisors to gain information and insight into their practicesEstablish relationships with marketing staff of key producers/MGAs.Provide insight and sales ideas related to the insurance industry, product knowledge & system training (BIC, Illustrations, Morningstar etc.) Position RBC Insurance products & solutions to prospects & existing clients; as well as identifying cross selling opportunitiesAdvance the sales process with new prospects by booking presentations and meetings for the Sales ConsultantsMaintain contact management system and develop follow-up strategy for newly contracted brokers, thank-you for large cases, etc. .Attain weekly metricsWhat will you need to succeed?Must haveFinancial Acumen – sound knowledge of financial markets, fundamentals of financial planningLife Licensed (LLQP) And/orStrong Life and Living Benefits product knowledgeUnderstanding of competitive landscape and marketplaceLife Insurance License, LLQP (mandatory)Post-secondary educationExcellent organizational skills – able to respond to inquiries, suggestions, complaints and requests in a timely, courteous & professional manner.Exceptional interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal Driver’s license and vehicle mandatoryWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
