Inside Sales Specialist

The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for selling transactional products and services, supporting customers, and driving sales through high-volume outreach and lead qualification. Responsibilities Make high‑volume outbound calls to prospects daily using call lists/Installed Base, CRM data or lead-generation tools based on Target Customer/Industries Introduce the company’s products or services, clearly communicating value and addressing initial questions or objections Qualify leads based on defined criteria to determine fit and readiness for the next step in the sales process Schedule appointments/calls for Field Sales Managers Be able to immediately close a deal or move on the sales process if the opportunity is presented Document all interactions in the CRM with accurate notes and follow‑up tasks Use the CRM tool and other tools in a consistent and qualitative way, to support the sales process and take decisions Serve as a point of contact for a small portfolio of newly acquired or lower‑touch accounts Conduct periodic check‑ins to ensure satisfaction and identify upsell or cross‑sell opportunities Follow up on warm leads from marketing campaigns, email outreach or inbound inquiries Meet or exceed daily/weekly KPIs, including call volume, conversions and appointments set Build compelling Value Propositions scripts and collaborate with the sales and marketing team to refine them, improve lead quality and optimize outreach strategies Maintain a positive, persistent attitude when handling objections or rejection Analyze and understand market insights and the customers’ buying behavior and keep team informed and updated Travel up to 10% Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Business Major graduate having robust experience is a plus Prioritizing and managing multiple short-term tasks Problem solving Strong customer service orientation and sense of urgency Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to express ideas clearly both in written and verbal formats Strong attention to detail and follow-up skillset Team work and team player Strong verbal communication and active listening skills Comfort with high‑volume outreach and rejection Ability to quickly build rapport with strangers Organized, disciplined, and consistent with follow‑ups Experience with CRM systems is a plus Prior cold‑calling or inside‑sales experience preferred Benefits Medical/dental/vision/life 401(k) plan And more Company Overview Alfa Laval is a supplier of products and solutions for heat transfer, separation, and fluid handling technologies.
