The Inside Sales Representative will proactively promote IDT's portfolio of products, drive customer consultations, and manage relationships to achieve revenue growth goals.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage assigned accounts strategically to deliver solutions and drive revenue growth by understanding both short-term and long-term needs/goals for optimal positioning of IDT’s products and services; in addition, prospect for new leads and prepare information for outgoing sales calls to secure new customersDemonstrate effective selling skills and product understanding to uncover customer needs to position an appropriate solution; Maintain and develop strategic partnerships with key customers and leverages internal resources, when necessary, to achieve the highest level of customer satisfactionBuilds in-depth knowledge of CRM and funnel management tools and applies these skills consistently to forecast business, manage customer opportunities, build opportunity pipeline, and make business decisionsSkillsBachelor's degree with equivalent experience in a Life Science related discipline or related field required OR Business degree with relevant life science industry experience OR Master's degree in a life science field1+ years of previous experience in the Life Science market, preferably in a customer-oriented and/or sales experience (remote or in-person) preferredRole will require up to 20% travel and quarterly customer visitsExperience and Proficiency with popular CRM's (Salesforce) preferredMolecular Biology techniques (NGS, CRISPR, PCR, Synthetic Biology) or similar lab experienceBenefitsPaid time offMedical/dental/vision insurance401(k)Company OverviewIntegrated DNA Technologies sells short strands of DNA called oligonucleotides.
