Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Representative will develop new customer accounts and manage existing ones, contributing directly to the company’s success in the chemical distribution space. Responsibilities Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through strategic prospecting and account penetration efforts Develop and execute plans to introduce product offerings, marketing materials, product samples and pricing details to both new and existing customers Build a robust sales pipeline and manage opportunities from lead generation through to close Achieve specified sales metrics including calls, leads and opportunity follow up along with other CRM activities Gather market intelligence, including information on key competitors, pricing strategies, and packaging Respond to customer inquiries, qualify customers; develop understanding of customer’s needs, requirements, and expectations to support customer excellence initiatives Maintain and grow existing accounts by introducing new product offerings Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, samples, and pricing on new and existing products Work proactively with current customers to retain their loyalty Identify opportunities to reduce excess or dead inventory through strategic planning Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Dynamics (CRM) to ensure transparency and alignment across LBBS divisional functions Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast inventory requirements based on customer and market demand Communicate ways to improve customer satisfaction to leadership team Work effectively with all other LBBS divisional functions to promote a customer focus and communicate ways to improve customer satisfaction Special projects assigned by Commercial team Skills Bachelor of science degree preferred, 1- 3 years related experience preferred Demonstrated expertise in identifying and articulating customer's needs, applications, and requirements Highly motivated, target driven, and committed to achieving results Self-starter who can work effectively with minimal supervision Strong understanding in sales negotiation and closing Excellent computer skills including (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), experience with CRM systems, (Dynamics experience a plus) Excellent attention to detail, written/verbal communication skills, organizational and time management skills Must be able to show evidence of authorization to work in the U.S. or Canada without employer sponsorship Benefits Comprehensive healthcare 401(k) matching Flexible Work Environment: Hybrid and remote work options within the U.S. and Canada.
