They are seeking an Inside Property Adjuster who will provide exceptional service to policyholders by virtually inspecting damages, investigating coverage, preparing estimates, and settling claims promptly and accurately.ResponsibilitiesProvide exceptional service to policyholdersVirtually inspect damages, investigate coverage, prepare estimates, and settle claims promptly and accuratelyInteract with customers, contractors, and vendors through various software platforms such as Xactimate and ClaimsX Video CollaborationCommunicate through different channels including voice calls, email, and text messagesFocus on water losses to ensure high-level support and resolution for these specific claimsInvestigate property claims by performing detailed reviews of damage and interpreting policies to determine coverageEvaluate and negotiate claims settlements with customers, vendors, third party carriers and claimants in accordance with all legal and business standard methodologiesUtilize multiple tools to get the job done in a fast-paced environment, including estimate tools, job aids, and additional settlement platformsEnsure timely and accurate documentation is completed as you work on each claimSkills1+ years of previous customer service experienceExcellent organization skillsAbility to multi-taskExcellent negotiation and communication skills to interact with customers and stakeholders remotelyAbility to work independently and manage time efficiently in an office and virtual work environmentDetail-oriented and organized, with a focus on delivering high-quality and efficient claim resolutionsPrevious industry experience is highly desiredAs a condition of employment, your office/area may require you to obtain an adjuster and/or an appraiser license which includes passing an additional background check with the Department of LaborIf applicable, you will be required to secure license(s) within 60 days of hireBenefitsTime offHealthcareRetirement401K/pensionEducation reimbursementCompany OverviewAllstate is an insurance company that offers car, home, and life insurance services.
