Information Technology System Administrator
Reports to Chief Information Officer.
Job Summary:
An individual contributor that provides broad support across a range of areas for the IT function and CIO support. We are seeking an individual who is seeking to learn and grow in parallel with a rapidly evolving dental service organization that supports multiple dental clinics in Las Vegas.
Key Responsibilities:
⢠Provides end-user support on computer systems, peripherals, applications, tools, servers, networks and clinical equipment.
⢠Evaluates, implements, and manages internal and external IT services, projects, and vendor relationships.
⢠Leads software and operating system installation, performance troubleshooting and user training.
⢠Manages the administration of data file structures, directories and backup strategy.
⢠Participates in the design, implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of servers and IT services both in house and external.
⢠Maintains records and databases containing information regarding asset inventories including network entities, software/hardware/dental equipment licenses, warranties, services, and service agreements.
⢠Manages VOIP phone system deployment.
⢠Manages Office365 enterprise email system.
⢠Participates in network security design, implementation, maintenance and support for firewalls, routers, and other network devices.
⢠Participates in virtual machine and web service administration.
⢠Contributes to business, operation, data management and business analysis activities including budgeting and asset acquisition/disposal.
Knowledge/Skills / Experience:
⢠General desktop computer technologies include building and deployment of desktop computers and related software and hardware, in Windows environments.
⢠Analytical and problem solving skills, especially with respect to prioritization and end-user troubleshooting and support.
⢠Fast learner. Able to deal with ambiguity. Great communication and organization skills.
⢠Programming/development/scripting skills are highly desirable but not required.
⢠Three+ years experience at MSP or in-house IT for SMB or corporate entity. Salary commensurate with skills / experience.
Work Environment:
⢠Primarily working from the corporate office most of the time. ( > 90%).
⢠Site visits to clinical offices in Las Vegas valley as needed for support. Able to provide own transportation.
⢠Must be local. Relocation or 100% remote work not an option.
⢠Business hours 9 to 5 during weekdays.
⢠Available for phone / remote support after-hours and on weekends as needed for emergencies.
