Information Systems Architect - Advanced (Citrix Architect) Location: 100% Remote (Candidate must reside in the continental U.S. and work EST hours) City/State: Clemson, SC Hours/Week: 40 Shift: Day 12 months from start date (with possible extension) Clemson University is seeking an experienced Information Systems Architect - Advanced (Citrix Architect) to join the Infrastructure Services and Operations team. This is a 100% remote, full-time consulting role supporting the Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) project, ensuring compliance with industry standards and delivering critical Tier 1-4 Citrix infrastructure support. Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of technical experience in Citrix administration, including XenServer in a production environment • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Windows Infrastructure technologies such as: • Active Directory (AD) • DNS • DHCP • ADFS • WSUS • 5+ years of hands-on experience with design and architecture of IT systems • 5+ years of providing Tier 1 - Tier 4 support • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills using structured methodologies • Familiarity with Citrix command-line tools and the ability to create SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) Preferred Qualifications: • Experience monitoring VDI platforms with tools such as: • Netscaler • ControlUP • Citrix Administration Certification Additional Requirements: • Must be able to: • Troubleshoot complex systems in critical environments • Identify root causes and implement action plans • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams • Work independently with minimal supervision • Support EST working hours regardless of time zone Recruiter Submission Template: Full Name: Degree Major with University and Completion Year (Bachelor's in CS or related field required): Are you a PMP-certified professional?
