Job Overview

The InDesign Technical Support Specialist will provide expert technical assistance to Adobe InDesign users, troubleshoot issues, and guide users on best practices. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with InDesign, a deep understanding of workflows, and experience with ExtendScript or JavaScript-based automation to enhance user productivity and project efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide technical support to InDesign users, addressing a range of software-related issues.
• Troubleshoot advanced InDesign issues, including workflow automation and scripting with ExtendScript.
• Assist users with installation and configuration of InDesign plugins and software updates.
• Guide users through best practices, tips, and workflow optimization within InDesign.
• Stay updated on the latest InDesign features, versions, and Creative Cloud integrations.
• Collaborate with developers or Adobe support to resolve complex technical issues.
• Conduct training for new teams and assist with system setup and access.
• Prepare samples for new projects and resolve ticket requests with root cause analysis.

Qualifications
• Extensive hands-on experience with Adobe InDesign, including layout, typography, image handling, and color management.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and integration with other Adobe applications (InCopy, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).
• Experience with ExtendScript or JavaScript scripting in InDesign is highly preferred.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests simultaneously.
• Familiarity with Windows and macOS environments.
• Patience, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
