Independent Claims Adjuster – Northern & Southern California

Southern California: Applicants must reside in and be able to travel locally within and surrounding the Los Angeles County, California area. Northern California: Applicants must reside in and be able to travel locally within and surrounding the Sacramento, California area. Responsibilities: • Evaluating insurance coverage and liability exposure. • Conducting investigations, including interviews and recorded statements. • Performing on-site inspections, including cold calls, scene investigations, and vehicle inspections. • Making informed claim adjustment recommendations. • Preparing clear, detailed, and comprehensive reports. • Maintaining control of a full caseload while meeting deadlines and compliance requirements. Qualifications and Skills: • Minimum of 5 years of claims handling experience. • Strong field investigation and inspection background preferred. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse parties. • Highly developed analytical and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and manage travel within assigned areas.
