We are looking for candidates who either have a Personal Lines License or are willing to obtain during our training program (study time and exam provided).
Join our dynamic team at The Hartford Insurance, an established insurance company founded in 1810. We are an exclusive provider of Home and Auto Insurance for AARP members since 1984.
Personal Insurance Auto and Home Agents will be responsible for providing comprehensive insurance solutions, evaluating risk and confidently asking for the sale while overcoming objections.

WORK FORMAT
Our Sales Agent position offers a hybrid work schedule with the opportunity to work in office 3 days a week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays) and work from home 2 days a week (Mondays & Fridays). Agents will also be able to work from home on their rotating Saturday.
This enables employees to have the flexibility they need while collaborating with peers and leaders in the office, building relationships, and developing skills for career growth. This role will report to one of the below locations:
Hartford, CT
San Antonio, TX
SCHEDULE
Training Program:
Unlicensed Hires: Starts on May 12th and lasts for 12 weeks.
Licensed Hires: Starts on May 27th and lasts for 9 weeks.
Please note that time off during training is not accommodated.
Training Hours: Monday Friday, 9:30 am - 6:00 pm Eastern.
Post-Training Hours: Monday - Friday 9:30 am - 6:00 pm local time & every other Saturday 9:30 am - 6:00 pm Eastern.
COMPENSATION
Unlicensed Hires: $23 per hour.
Licensed Hires: $24 per hour.
We are a metric driven, pay-for-performance, award-winning sales organization. There is potential to earn lucrative rewards, including monthly, quarterly, and annual pay-outs along with sales incentives and contests. Average monthly earnings are $500+, top monthly earners exceeding $2000.
There is an opportunity to earn up to a 15% shift differential for weekend hours and Spanish-English Bilingual skillset, post certification.
QUALIFICATIONS:
2 + years proven track record in sales is required; comfort with negotiating and overcoming objections.
Capacity to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment, including up to 20-25 inbound calls per day.
Ability to maintain all state licenses and terminate all prior carrier relationships as applicable.
Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Internet: High speed broadband cable internet service with minimum upload/download speeds of 100MB download/10MB upload and your Internet provider supplied device is to be hard-wired to the Hartford issued router and/or computer. This is a customer-facing role which requires your full attention. A distraction free environment is required.
Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartfords total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
$42,800 - $64,200
The posted salary range reflects our ability to hire at different position titles and levels depending on background and experience.
