Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and their families. Duties • Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. • Monitor vital signs and report any changes in the client's health status. • Provide direct support for individuals with long-term care needs, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. • Help clients with mobility challenges, including lifting and transferring as needed. • Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation. • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to HIPAA regulations regarding privacy and confidentiality. • Document care provided and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals. • Support clients in managing medications as directed by healthcare providers. Qualifications • Previous experience in home community care or group home settings is preferred. • Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and patient monitoring techniques is essential. • Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving. • Ability to assist with physical tasks, including lifting clients when necessary. • Understanding of long-term care principles and practices. • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality is maintained. • Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not required. • Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
