Hummingbird is a remote-first, fully distributed team united by the shared mission of helping fight financial crime. Since our launch in 2017, we’ve helped major financial institutions and tech-savvy trailblazers alike (e.g. Stripe, Affirm, Evolve Bank etc.) orchestrate their compliance programs through our thoughtfully designed, intuitive SaaS product. We believe finding and stopping financial crime is a problem rooted in code, language and design, so we built the product that the heroes doing this work deserve.

About the Role
As an Implementation Manager (Contractor), you’ll be the engine behind successful customer launches at Hummingbird. This contract role, working roughly 20 hours per week, will be responsible for contract signature to go-live, you’ll own implementations end-to-end — translating real customer business and technical requirements into a thoughtfully configured Hummingbird platform that meets our clients’ use cases.
This is a role for someone who loves both structure and problem-solving: you’ll manage timelines and stakeholders while getting hands-on with platform configuration, integrations, and workflows. What you’re looking to do:
Welcome new Hummingbird customers with open arms. As one of the key points-of-contact just after a new customer signs on, you understand the impact that your role has!
Dive deep into technical intricacies. Our product is complex. You enjoy solving complex problems, and communicating that in a way that simplifies and brings clarity
Own all aspects of implementation. With the support of the CS team, you’ll be responsible for driving client satisfaction, project scope, change requests, project status tracking, coordination of internal tasks, and reporting of project KPIs
Configure the Hummingbird platform to meet customer business and technical requirements, within product capabilities
Manage multiple implementations in parallel, prioritizing effectively and proactively flagging risks, tradeoffs, or scope changes
What we’re looking for:
You thrive in owning ambiguous implementation work and turning loose requirements into clear plans, decisions, and outcomes
Experience configuring B2B enterprise SaaS platforms or technical products based on real customer business and technical needs (not just running project plans)
A strong cross-functional collaborator who enjoys working across the Customer Success org - with Technical Solutions Engineers, Implementation Managers, and our Head of Delivery to get things shipped
You're organized, proactive, and reliable — you manage your own priorities well and surface risks or blockers early
