Immigration Attorney - Green Card Services
Description:
• Join a team assisting clients with US immigration processes.
• Help companies and their international employees navigate immigration matters.
• Prepare and file green card applications.
• Collaborate with Attorneys and Case Managers.
• Keep informed on immigration law developments.
• Conduct in-depth client conversations to explain visa processes.
Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience working in the employment-based immigration field as an attorney.
• Experience including preparing I-140 immigration petitions & I-485 Adjustment of Status applications is preferable but not required.
• Familiarity with the interplay between PERM Labor Certification concepts, nonimmigrant status concepts and I-140, Adjustment of Status and Immigrant Visa concepts.
• Ability to prioritize and manage a busy caseload in an efficient manner and consistent with numerous inflexible legal deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate professionally and effectively with team members.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to break down complex legal concepts into language that is easy for clients to understand.
• Possess patience to conduct frequent, and sometimes somewhat repetitive, educational correspondence and/or calls with clients summarizing their application processes and answering their questions.
• High level of attention to detail, emotional intelligence, and empathy.
• Ability to deliver highly responsive and proactive client service.
