Position : SQL MSBI Developer
Duration : Long Term
Location : Remote
Hire Type: Independent Contract on W2 or 1099
Job Description:
ā¢ Client is looking for a heavy back-end developer with good experience in SSIS, Stored Procedures using SQL
ā¢ Strong experience with SQL Server and writing/optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures
ā¢ Experience on EDI 83X formats (EDI 834 is required) Should have the knowledge and hands-on experience of SSIS and SSRS (would be a great plus)
ā¢ Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle - Agile Proven track record in delivering high-quality Database backend projects within tight deadlines Excellent Analytical skills and resourcefulness Excellent communication skills Must be able to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
ā¢ Hands-on experience in Database finetuning, and resolution of performance bottlenecks (using Profilers and similar tool suite)
ā¢ Working experience with data migration/integration (within the healthcare field, particularly dental health benefits administration, Dental claims experience is a plus).
ā¢ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver results with quick turnaround times HIPAA, PHI, PII and Information security awareness Working experience on US Healthcare medical insurance segment, Medicaid dental/vision benefits piece
Roles and Responsibilities:
ā¢ Optimizing the stored procedures, indexing and performance to enhance the database performance Investigating Database bottlenecks: dead-lock resolution, data serialization issues - delayed writes, locks, columnar updates, etc.
ā¢ Work closely with business users to identify, report and correct data-centric issues.
ā¢ Deployment of enhancements and modifications/releases environments (Dev, QA, Prod)
