This position involves engaging with various stakeholders to understand and document the strategic vision of FedEx Logistics, while also analyzing industry trends and their impact on business architecture. The architect will simplify complex concepts into actionable roadmaps and collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure effective execution of the Value Stream strategy. Responsibilities • Engage with business and technical stakeholders to understand the FedEx Logistics Value Stream. , • Articulate the connection between business needs and Value Stream capabilities. , • Conduct current state assessments and recommend transition plans for Value Streams. , • Collaborate with Portfolio Business Architects to break down portfolio epics into actionable capability groupings. , • Lead efforts to translate Value Stream goals into actionable roadmaps. , • Support the SAFe Portfolio Kanban process by breaking down portfolio epics into smaller backlog bundles. , • Synchronize value stream execution with the strategic roadmap. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Math, IT systems, or a related discipline. , • Three years of experience in creating business capability roadmaps and deconstructing complex concepts. , • Five years of preferred experience in strategic and technical roles in large organizational projects. , • In-depth knowledge of company operations and the broader FedEx enterprise. , • Certification in Business Architecture preferred. Nice-to-haves • Freight forwarding experience required. , • Experience with CargoWise and EDI/API integration.
