The Summer Workshop is an enrichment program designed to give a select group of undergraduate students a unique insight into Seaport Global's operations and industry expertise. The program will feature a series of online presentations, interactive discussions, and networking opportunities with Seaport Global professionals. While the program is remote, participants will have the option to visit Seaport Global's New York headquarters for a day of programming, including discussion panels and a tour. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the industry and make valuable connections. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the logistics of the Summer Workshop program, including scheduling online presentations and discussions Communicate with participants, Seaport Global professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth program delivery Assist with program marketing and promotion to attract top talent Help manage the program's online platform and ensure technical issues are resolved promptly Provide administrative support to the Seaport Global team as needed Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you should: Be enrolled in a business-related degree program Have an excellent academic record Aspire to a career in finance Possess strong organizational and communication skills Be proficient in using online collaboration tools, such as Zoom Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following skills and experience will be highly regarded: Previous experience in coordinating events or programs Knowledge of the finance industry and its current trends Strong networking and interpersonal skills Familiarity with marketing and promotion strategies Proficiency in using project management tools, such as Asana or Trello Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you'll need to demonstrate: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills : You'll be working with participants, Seaport Global professionals, and other stakeholders, so it's essential to be able to communicate effectively and build strong relationships.
