This 1099 contract position offers the flexibility of working from home while providing virtual speech therapy services to students across New York. We're looking for a dedicated professional to start immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide virtual speech therapy services for students with communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and voice issues.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with parents and school staff.
Conduct regular assessments, track student progress, and modify therapy plans as needed.
Maintain ongoing communication with parents, school administrators, and other professionals to ensure the success of therapy interventions.
Create engaging and effective therapy sessions tailored to each students needs in a virtual environment.
Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in New York.
Proven experience working with children and students with various speech and language disorders.
Comfort and experience with virtual therapy platforms and online tools.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Ability to develop, monitor, and adjust treatment plans for optimal student progress.
