The ideal candidate for this job is knowledgeable about the TEKS and skilled in teaching local curriculum, study skills, and other content relevant to junior high to high school levels. Our tutors are: Full-time or part-time Teachers who are actively teaching currently preferably certified teachers, substitute teachers or paraprofessionals Teacher aides and/or paraprofessionals with classroom experience Special Education teachers Retired teachers Substitute Teachers with teaching experience Professionals who are subject matter experts with teaching experience Qualifications: Bachelor's degree/diploma preferred Teacher's certification preferred Understanding local curriculum Willingness to travel up to 30 minutes to student location Minimum of 1 year of experience in teaching and/or tutoring Be able to create personalized tutoring session plans Strong typing, PC, and recording skills Having reliable transportation is a must Advantages: We bring the students to you One-to-One Tutoring-varied teaching experience Flexible Scheduling- work on your schedule Access to our Tutor Resource Library Networking Opportunities Professional Reference Must be dependable and well organized.
