The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Mission Systems Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing mission systems interfaces to ensure efficient and intuitive user experiences. Your strong analytical and communication skills will be key to collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to solve complex problems.

The Work
In this role, you will serve as a Systems Engineer specializing in human-computer interaction (HCI) and mission systems. Your responsibilities will include:

Designing and developing mission systems interfaces to ensure efficient and intuitive user experiences
Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to solve complex problems
Applying your expertise in HCI to enhance system functionality and performance
Improving the usability and effectiveness of mission-critical systems


Key Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Mission Systems HCI Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Designing and developing user interfaces for mission systems
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of HCI principles
Conducting usability testing and analysis to identify areas for improvement
Developing and implementing solutions to enhance system usability and user experience
Staying up-to-date with the latest HCI trends and technologies


Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree
Human-computer interaction development experience
Familiarity of aviation mission system operations, avionics, sensors, and armament systems
Ability to obtain a security clearance to at least the Secret level

Strong interpersonal skills
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to work independently or as a member of a team

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $100,400 - $192,500, depending on location and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) match, we also offer flexible scheduling, paid time off, and holidays.
