Key Job Responsibilities...
• Develop Data Visualization dashboards using data in AWS Data Lake.
• Partner with other developers within the team to source data.
• Find ways to join disparate data sources to produce content.
• Challenge how data is being rendered today and determine ways to provide meaningful insights to end-users.
• Create dashboards that adhere to strict security access and entitlement standards.
• Work on an Agile team to deliver Jira story requirements in sprints.
• Ability to work well with others, including non-technical associates, to understand business requirements and translate that into application functionality.
• Partner with developers to gauge report performance and optimize query return time.
• Support product owner in defining future stories and tech lead in defining technical designs.
• Participates in the design conversations; convey ideas within group, train, and outside of train.

Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
• Candidate must have a can-do attitude and strong analytical skills.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Candidate must understand and have experience in all phases of the SDLC.
• Demonstrated expertise in PowerBI, with 5 or more years of experience.
• Possess a good knowledge of RDBMS and show proficiency in SQL.
• Hands-on experiences with JIRA, BitBucket (or similar source control tools), CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Familiarity with Cloud Computing, preferably AWS, and the use of tools to transfer, maintain and extract data from AWS.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, both on-prem and cloud.
• Background in financial services functions strongly desirable.
