About the position
Liberty Healthcare and the California Conditional Release Program are seeking experienced law enforcement professionals for a part-time Case Worker position. This role focuses on enhancing public safety and preventing recidivism by providing intensive supervision, case management, and behavioral health services to adult sexual offenders on court-ordered conditional release. The program is experiencing growth, leading to the creation of several new part-time positions in the local area. These are field-based roles that allow for some work from home, but require driving and transporting clients throughout the region. This position is ideal for retired law enforcement professionals looking to stay active in the field on a part-time basis, offering a high degree of independence and the opportunity to use criminal justice expertise to improve community safety.
Responsibilities
• Primarily driving and escorting clients to appointments
• Ensuring clients comply with their court-ordered release terms
• Observing and monitoring client movement and behavior
• Documenting client activities and encounters
• Assisting clients with obtaining employment, benefits, and other entitlements
Requirements
• Former law enforcement experience
• Willingness to drive and transport clients
• Ability to work part-time with varying and somewhat unpredictable schedules
