ICD Closer (Retail)
The ICD Closer is responsible for the accuracy and delivery of the Initial Closing Disclosure. The Initial Closing Disclosure must be issued to the borrower within three days of the closing date, providing borrowers with detailed information about all costs associated with their loan.
The ICD Closer Position is part of the Closing Training Program taking an entry-level partner and moving them up within the department to a Final Closer Position (Final Closers are responsible for the accuracy and delivery of the Closing Package that is signed by the Borrower).

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
β’ Reviews the Title Commitment for accurate vesting
β’ Review the Homeowners Policy and Tax Certificate to set up the Escrow Account
β’ Thoroughly reviews loan files for data accuracy
β’ Proficient in all loan types such as FHA, VA, RD, CONV
β’ Verifies wiring instructions with our title companies
β’ Obtains Final Verifications of Employment
β’ Expectation of 16 to 20 ICDs per day
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
β’ High school diploma or equivalent
SKILLS REQUIRED
β’ Professional, organized and able to adapt to change quickly
β’ Detail-oriented and skilled at multi-tasking
β’ Strong time management and organizational skills
β’ Can work with a sense of urgency when time constraints are involved
