IBM API Connect Admin and Developer
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IBM API Connect Admin and Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining API solutions using IBM API Connect. This role will require a combination of API design and development, as well as administration and configuration of the IBM API Connect platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain APIs using IBM API Connect
Implement API security and access controls
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to API Connect
Collaborate with development teams to design and implement APIs that meet business requirements
Work with business stakeholders to identify API requirements and create API specifications
Manage API Connect configuration and deployment
Develop and maintain documentation related to API design, development, and administration
Conduct performance analysis and optimization of APIs
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an IBM API Connect Admin and Developer
In-depth knowledge of API design and development using IBM API Connect
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and API security best practices
Experience with IBM API Connect administration, including deployment, configuration, and monitoring
Proficient in Node.js, Java, or other programming languages used in API development
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Docker
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
