We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our esteemed team for a 6-month temporary engagement. This hybrid position allows for a flexible work arrangement consisting of three days in the office and two days working remotely each week.
Key Responsibilities
Ā Supervise the monthly closing procedures, including the posting of journal entries and the preparation of flux analyses.
Ā Develop amortization schedules and manage revenue recognition processes effectively.
Ā Record straight-line revenue and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
Ā Prepare and assess rent packages to guarantee consistency and precision.
Ā Conduct reconciliations and contribute to comprehensive monthly financial statements.
Required Skills
Ā Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Ā Advanced proficiency in Excel, specifically with VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
Ā Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
Ā Familiarity with MRI or similar accounting software is beneficial.
Qualifications
Ā A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Ā A minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate general ledger (GL) accounting.
Ā Experience in REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) accounting is highly desirable.
