Engineering Technician, Except Drafters: (8+ years thoroughly documented & relevant work experience) • Ability to plan, organize, and lead others in studies, designs, and construction projects, record and manage the processes and documentation, and to negotiate effectively with management to accept and implement recommendations, where proposals involve substantial resources and require extensive changes in established concepts and procedures. • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; negotiate complex issues; and maintain good working relationships. • Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle, navigating throughout Dyess AFB on both paved and gravel roads. • Experience working with Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Requirements Electrical Technician: Thorough knowledge of the National Electric Code Ability to diagnose electrical issues on HVAC motors, pumps, relays, breakers, transformers, etc. Ability to understand high voltage substations Ability to develop estimates of facility repairs. Ability to be a self-starter; individual & group efforts to diagnose facility electrical issues. Ability to enter site gathered knowledge into a database used for tracking infrastructure aging. Ability to have a general understanding of commercial construction & how all trades interconnect. Apply tot his job
