Position: Hybrid Job - Application Architect – Atlanta, GA (30328) Application Architect – Atlanta, GA (30328) About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Application Architect to join with our client on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with Java, AWS, Node.js and Angular. This hybrid role requires three days in the office and two days remote work per week. Job Title: Application Architect Contract Length: 12 months (contract to hire) Location: Atlanta, GA (30328) Workplace Type: Hybrid – 3 days onsite (Tue, Wed, Thu). Hours 9/9:30 am – 4/4:30 pm Key Responsibilities • Lead the design and architecture of scalable and secure applications using AWS cloud services, Java, Angular, and Node.js. • Provide guidance to developers, ensure best practices, and drive architectural decisions across projects. • Utilize and integrate AWS Bedrock API into applications where applicable. • Define and implement cloud‑native application strategies, including serverless architectures and microservices. • Oversee application development, code reviews, and performance optimization. • Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including Dev Ops, UX/UI, and product management, to align development with business goals. • Ensure applications follow best practices in security, compliance, and scalability. • Guide and mentor junior developers to enhance team capabilities. Required Skills & Experience • 8+ years of software development experience with a focus on Java, Angular, and Node.js. • 5+ years of experience designing cloud-based applications using AWS. • Strong understanding of microservices architecture, AI, event-driven systems, and API design. • Proficiency in RESTful API development. • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience managing development teams.
