We provide premium maintenance, installation, and repair service of heating and cooling systems for both residential homeowners and commercial properties. Position: HVAC Operation Manager

Job Summary:

To assist the owner in the implementation and execution of the company's goals. This includes but is not limited to the following areas: supervision & management of the company's service, installation, warehouse, and administrative functions. Will be responsible for maintaining the profitability of the company and achieving the company's annual budget and maintaining year-over-year growth goals.

Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 salary + profitability bonuses

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 5:00pm

Responsibilities:
• Reviewing billing reports, cash reports, productivity reports on a daily basis, discussion with manager & appropriate personnel as warranted
• Develop the agenda and lead weekly service & install meetings
• Continue to work with the Office Manager & Accounting Manager and other managers to improve the overall internal efficiencies of the company
• Responsible for meeting ownership's business goals
• Implementation and execution of the strategic plan as outlined by the Owner or Board of Directors to reach desired goals
• Act as a back up to the following management positions: Sales Manager, and Owner's oversight of accounting
• Develop operations standards and policies through input and discussion with the Installation, Service, Office, & Accounting personnel
• Be available to answer manager and/or employee questions
• Resolve disputes and problems which may arise between various departments/managers
• Resolving customer disputes
• Negotiate pricing with vendors and suppliers, including billing terms, prompt pay discounts, shipping discounts etc.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business management preferred
• Profit and Loss experience
• Experience with construction, home services, or trade management is a plus
• Successful track record in business development, marketing and sales
• Collaborative team player
• Experience leading teams, managing resources efficiently, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
• Proven experience in strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making
• Proficient communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively to various audiences
• Skilled in drafting reports, memos, and professional correspondence
• Adept at building strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and customers
• Experienced in negotiating contracts and terms with clients and vendors.
• Strong track record of finding mutually beneficial solutions and maintaining positive working relationships
