What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor and report on abuses of religious freedom and positive developments in assigned areas
- Conduct research and prepare reports on the actions of foreign officials related to religious freedom violations
- Travel to designated countries for information gathering and monitoring purposes
- Brief senior officials on significant religious freedom-related developments
- Compile progress reports, strategic plans for outreach, and participate in training workshops
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in policy research and analysis in international relations/affairs
- Knowledge of laws, policies, and regulations regarding human rights and religious freedom
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in standard software including Microsoft Office Suite
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- MasterΒs or other post-graduate degree in a related field
- Familiarity with various religious traditions and dynamics
- Experience working with government agencies or international organizations
- Sound judgment and strong interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances and competing interests
