Human Resources Investigator

Status: Part Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Summary of the Position: Human Resources Investigator is responsible for assisting with the prompt, thorough, and impartial investigation of employee complaints and workplace concerns. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with employment laws, organizational policies, and best practices related to employee relations. The Human Resources Investigator will work closely with the Chief People Officer and the Legal team to conduct legally defensible investigation into allegations such as harassment, discrimination, retaliation, misconduct, and policy violations. This position requires discretion, sound judgement, strong analytical skills, and the ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and confidentiality. Hourly Rate: $29.00 Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience assisting with or conducting employee relations or workplace investigations. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion, impartiality, and sound judgement. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document findings clearly and professionally. Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance compassion with accountability. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) is a plus.
