About the position

The HR Coordinator provides administrative support to the Human Resources function across multiple U.S. locations. This role assists with onboarding, HR systems data entry, employee documentation, benefits administration support, and compliance tracking. The position works closely with the HR Director, HR Business Partner, and Payroll to support day-to-day HR operations. This role is an excellent opportunity for an early-career HR professional to gain hands-on experience across multiple HR functions, including HRIS administration within Dayforce, employee lifecycle processes, and HR compliance support.

Responsibilities
• Assist with onboarding, including offer letters, new hire paperwork, background checks, and HRIS data entry.
• Process employee status changes in HRIS, such as job changes, compensation updates, and terminations.
• Maintain employee files and HR records in compliance with federal and state regulations, including I-9s.
• Support offboarding activities, including separation documentation and unemployment claim preparation.
• Track leaves of absence, accommodations, training, and other compliance-related items.
• Help employees with benefits questions and coordinate with benefits vendors.
• Provide basic payroll support, including auditing data and assisting with payroll inquiries.
• Support HR reporting, including headcount, workforce, and compliance reports.
• Respond to general HR inbox inquiries and route complex matters to HRBP or HR Director.
• Assist with scheduling meetings, investigations, and documentation preparation.

Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of HR administrative or coordinator experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience also considered.
• Experience with HRIS systems (Dayforce preferred)
• Knowledge of basic federal and state employment laws
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills and experience supporting HR reporting.

Nice-to-haves
• Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
