Human Resources Generalist

The HR Generalist role is responsible for the day-to-day execution of HR processes and partnering closely with a senior HR Business Partner to support operational and strategic HR activities. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive support to HR Business Partners across the employee lifecycle, including employee data management, reporting, performance management, employee relations, and termination processes Serve as a first point of contact for employees and front-line managers, responding to HR-related questions in a timely, professional, and supportive manner Maintain accurate and reliable HR data within Workday, ensuring high standards of data integrity and validation Manage the end-to-end contractor lifecycle, including all onboarding and offboarding activities within Workday Prepare and extract standard HR reports for analysis and operational use Partner with HR Business Partners to support basic risk assessments and ensure alignment with HR policies and procedures Execute operational activities related to the annual Performance Management process, including reporting on leader completion rates, supporting calibration sessions (note-taking), and tracking follow-up actions Handle basic employee relations matters and support leaders with employee performance documentation and actions Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback and insights as appropriate Skills Foundational understanding of HR processes, standards, and tactical HR practices Basic knowledge of professional HR principles and employee lifecycle management Working understanding of local employment laws and governance requirements Ability to apply established HR concepts, practices, and procedures independently within assigned responsibilities Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and follow-through Effective communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with employees and leaders Entry-level to early professional HR experience with demonstrated ability to manage assigned responsibilities independently Bachelor's degree preferred (Human Resources, Business, Sociology, Psychology, or related field), or equivalent relevant experience Benefits Career Development Competitive Compensation and Benefits Pay Transparency Global Opportunities Company Overview The KION Group sells forklift trucks, warehouse technology and associated services from its seven brand companies around the world.
