OVERVIEW:

DeSales University, in Center Valley, PA, is a private, coeducational, four-year liberal arts Salesian, Catholic university, under the leadership of the Oblates of Saint Francis de Sales. Founded in 1965, the 550-acre suburban campus is located 50 miles north of Philadelphia and about 90 miles southwest of New York City. POSITION SUMMARY:

The Human Resources Coordinator supports all members of the Human Resources team in a variety of areas to fulfill necessary HR tasks. Responsibilities include providing support in the areas of background checks, hiring, onboarding/offboarding, tracking and maintaining all employee data and files, various internal/external communications, event preparation and planning, and supporting all general departmental processes. This individual will serve as a liaison to all colleagues across campus regarding various HR related policies, procedures, and events, and will do so in a professional and Salesian manner in support of the University's Mission. This individual must maintain the utmost confidentiality when dealing with employees and employee information. QUALIFICATIONS:
? High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Resources preferred
? Minimum of 2 years? experience in a professional administrative support role required, experience in Human Resources preferred
? Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required
? Due to the nature of information handled, adherence to strict confidentiality principles is a must.
? Must be well organized, attentive to detail and be able to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
? Must demonstrate conduct in a respectful manner, with dignity and honesty, in support of the Salesian tradition of humility and gentleness.
