We are hiring for a co-op position for the Fall 2026 term to support our client-facing HR teams. Here are a few examples of the types of work the successful candidate may undertake:

Supporting our HR Services teams in online client engagements. A typical online engagement is structured as 5 days a week/4 hours a day.

Prior to the engagement, preparation duties include sending calendar invitations, meeting with the engagement leader to plan the agenda, and preparing presentations, documents, activities, and polls.

During the engagement, duties include notetaking, managing break out rooms, and preparing documentation.

Post engagement, duties include summarizing discussion notes, finalizing deliverables, and participating in debrief meetings.

Conducting short research requests on HR topics.

Supporting the preparation of workshop materials.

Note: Our co-op positions are full-time, 40 hours per week between 8:00 am – 5:00pm EST, however, there may be some client engagements that will require the ability to flex work hours and will require strong internet connectivity.

We are looking to hire a co-op student with a passion for Human Resources, who has strong listening and note taking skills; strong skills in Microsoft Office (particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Word); who has exceptional time management skills, and who is comfortable working collaboratively with different people across multiple teams in a dynamic remote work environment. You’ll get great exposure to many different areas of HR and to people like Grace Ewles and Peter Wong, former McLean & Company co-op students who returned to make their careers with us.

As a McLean & Company co-op student, you’ll also have access to McLean Academy, a series of online research-informed courses. Courses have been pre-approved for professional development credits by the HRPA, SHRM, and HRCI.
