As the Human Resources Business Partner I, you will work closely with HR management to implement HR programs and support Shure Associates in delivering the Ultimate Associate Experience.ResponsibilitiesActs as a point of contact for Associates on HR policies, ensuring interpretations align with both company culture and regional labor nuancesManages requests from multiple stakeholders – often managing urgent priorities simultaneouslyAssists with the administration of talent and performance initiatives, including the communication of processes, tracking key metrics, and creating reportsSupports HR leadership in documenting employee relations matters; assists the team in ensuring compliance with standards across regional officesPartners with the team to design and implement engagement initiatives that resonate with in-person, remote, or hybrid employees (e.g., virtual team-builders or events)Participates in employment functions, including interviewing, recruiting, stay and exit interviews, etcParticipates in HR Divisional Projects as assignedPerforms other duties as assigned, including administrative tasks such as departmental filing, scheduling, and activity coordination, and occasional backup support for administrative functionsSkillsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related fieldMinimum of 1-2 year of professional HR experience, ideally as an HR Business Partner or GeneralistBasic experience with Human Resources Information Systems (e.g.; Oracle, iCIMS, Success Factors)Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPointAbility to leverage company-authorized AI tools to enhance efficiency and creativityAbility to manage a split schedule between multiple physical office locations in close proximity to each other while maintaining a high level of responsivenessStrong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders, from entry-level to leadershipHigh level of integrity and the ability to handle sensitive, confidential Associate information with total professionalismExceptional time-management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks when requests come in from multiple managers simultaneouslyA global mindset with an interest in learning about international labor standards and diverse workplace culturesAbility and openness to seek, accept, and provide feedbackMust have the ability to travel between Shure's Niles, Skokie, and Wheeling locations as scheduledUnderstanding of federal, state, and local employment lawsApplicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basisBenefitsComprehensive healthcareMental health and retirement savings plansGenerous paid time off programsEmployee discountsProfessional development opportunitiesWork-life balance initiativesEmployee recognition programsVolunteering/community involvement opportunitiesCompany OverviewShure is a consumer electronics company that manufactures electronic audio products such as mics and headphones.
