Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager to lead our new automated Perishable Distribution Center in Wellford, SC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the culture from the ground up, attracting and retaining top talent, and overseeing a broad range of HR functions.
Responsibilities:
Lead HR functions, including employee engagement, training and development, recruiting and staffing, onboarding and new hire orientation, employee relations, and strategic HR initiatives
Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent
Train and develop managers and associates
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing
Drive and implement the business plan for the area of responsibility to achieve facility goals
Serve as a community liaison by participating in local and community organizations and charitable activities
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Human Resources)
4+ years of experience in Human Resources, including progressively more responsible management experience
HR Certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) highly desired
Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing setting, supporting both hourly associates and salaried leaders
