Human Resource Business Partner

Position Overview The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution of HR services and processes across the organization. Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, this role ensures that HR policies, systems, and practices are applied consistently, efficiently, and in alignment with organizational standards. This is a hands-on, operational role with a strong emphasis on HRIS optimization, process development, and documentation. The HRBP plays a critical role in strengthening HR infrastructure, improving workflows, and ensuring consistent and reliable employee experience across the organization. Key Responsibilities HRIS Optimization & Process Development β€’ Lead ongoing optimization of the HRIS, including data integrity, workflows, and system functionality within ADP Workforce Now β€’ Identify gaps in current processes and design, document, and implement standardized HR workflows and procedures β€’ Develop and maintain clear, accessible process documentation (SOPs, guides, and templates) across all HR functions β€’ Partner with external vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve system issues and improve functionality β€’ Support system enhancements related to onboarding, performance management, reporting, and employee lifecycle events Employee Relations & Issue Resolution β€’ Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters across the organization β€’ Manage routine employee relations issues, including performance concerns, workplace conflicts, and policy questions β€’ Escalate complex or high-risk matters to the Director of People & Culture as appropriate β€’ Ensure consistent documentation and adherence to established processes Performance Management Support β€’ Support administration of performance management processes, including goal setting, review cycles, and performance improvement plans (PIPs) β€’ Provide guidance to managers on applying performance processes consistently β€’ Track and follow up on performance-related actions to ensure completion HR Operations & Process Execution β€’ Execute core HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, job changes, and offboarding β€’ Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR Operations to ensure smooth coordination of HR activities β€’ Maintain accuracy of employee records and ensure alignment between systems and documentation β€’ Support audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and external requirements Policy Application & Compliance β€’ Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures β€’ Ensure policies are applied consistently and fairly across the organization β€’ Support compliance with employment laws and organizational standards Data Tracking & Reporting Suppo rt β€’ Maintain accurate tracking of HR activities, including employee relations cases and performance actions β€’ Support preparation of routine HR reports and data requests β€’ Ensure data integrity across HR systems and reporting outputs Employee Experience & Support β€’ Respond to employee inquiries in a timely, professional, and solutions-oriented manner β€’ Support a consistent and respectful workplace environment β€’ Reinforce organizational expectations related to conduct, accountability, and professionalism Other Duties as Assigned Qualifications β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field β€’ 5 –7+ years of HR experience, with strong generalist or operational HR experience β€’ Demonstrated experience with HRIS management, process improvement, and documentation β€’ Experience supporting employees in a remote environment β€’ Strong employee relations experience β€’ Working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance β€’ Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS platforms Key Competencies β€’ Systems & Process Orientation – Ability to build, improve, and sustain efficient HR systems and workflows β€’ Execution & Follow-Through – Delivers timely, accurate, and consistent results β€’ Judgment & Escalation Awareness – Understands when to escalate vs. resolve independently β€’ Consistency & Fairness – Applies policies and processes uniformly β€’ Attention to Detail – Ensures accuracy in data, documentation, and execution β€’ Communication – Clear, professional, and direct
