Human Health Expert Content Contributor (Part-Time, Contract)

THE ROLE Grove Collaborative is leaning further into human health as part of our brand focus, complementing our strong foundation in sustainability. While we have a trusted voice in sustainability and environmentalism, we are seeking to build the same credibility in the health space- meeting our audience where they are and joining the most relevant online conversations. We are looking for 3–5 expert contributors across diverse areas of human health to help engage in key online communities and amplify our perspective across multiple content channels. This role is ideal for topic experts with an authentic voice who can engage audiences in community forums like Reddit and Quora and collaborate closely with Grove’s content and social teams. PRIORITY EXPERTISE AREAS We are especially interested in contributors with credibility and experience in one or more of the following areas: • Nutrition & Gut Health • Pelvic & Postpartum Health • Women’s Hormonal Health If your area of expertise is not listed but aligns with Grove’s mission to support human health and wellness, we encourage you to apply. WHAT WE MEAN BY "EXPERT": • You have deep expertise in your health topic through professional credentials and/or significant lived experience that has made you a trusted voice. • You can communicate authentically, blending credible knowledge with empathy and relatability, so your content feels like it comes from a peer, not a distant brand. • You don’t need a massive following but you do need proof that you can spark engagement and discussion where you are active. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Trend Spotting & Topic Ideation Identify trending health topics and share recommendations to inform Grove’s editorial, email, and social media planning. • Community Engagement Actively participate in platforms such as Reddit, Quora, and X (Twitter) to share expert insights and join relevant conversations. • Content Contribution Produce and publish health-related content under your own name, with potential opportunities for blog and newsletter contributions. WHO YOU ARE • Subject Matter Expert: You have deep expertise in a specific human health area this could be through professional credentials, but equally valued is lived experience that has made you a trusted voice for others navigating similar challenges. • Able to Engage Authentically: You can connect with audiences in ways that feel personal, relatable, and credible whether through thoughtful responses, storytelling, or resource sharing. • Cadence & Consistency: Comfortable contributing to 10–15 relevant Reddit, Quora or X conversations per week, and open to additional written or video content contributions.
