Hubspot Data & Reporting Expert for a fast-growing and forward thinking team - Contract to Hire
We are looking for a Hubspot Data & Reporting Expert to help us implement and navigate both simple and complex Reports and Dashboards in Hubspot as our company scales. We currently have an in-house developer and a Marketing Lead that can support your implementation but we are in need of a dedicated reporting expert who we can contract with on an hourly basis for high-level problem solving, implementation, and guidance.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
● Expert-level experience in HubSpot reporting & dashboards
● Building custom reports (single-object, multi-object, funnel, attribution, cohort, etc.)
● Creating actionable dashboards for Marketing, Sales, and Leadership
● Strong understanding of HubSpot objects, pipelines, lifecycle stages, lead scoring, and custom properties
● Fluency with Google Workspace (GSuite) like Sheets (for data manipulation and monitoring), Slides (for executive reporting), and Docs (for documentation and specs)
● Proven track record solving difficult technical challenges
● Translating business questions into data requirements and reporting logic
● Debugging broken or inaccurate reports and workflows
ADDITIONAL VALUABLE SKILLS
● Deep experience prompting AI models, including designing robust prompt chains and workflows to support reporting and automation use cases as well as using GPT Deep Research for Hubspot Connectors
DELIVERABLES
You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a clear reporting layer that supports our growth and decision-making, including:
● Designing and building HubSpot reports and dashboards aligned to business KPIs (marketing, sales, funnels, retention, revenue, etc.)
● Ensuring data is accurate, consistent, and trustworthy across HubSpot and connected tools
● Implementing or improving AI-powered and traditional automations that support reporting and data workflows (e.g., enrichment, routing, notifications, syncing to Sheets/Docs)
● Collaborating via calls and async messages to:
● Clarify business questions and convert them into tracking & reporting requirements
● Solve complex data and workflow issues
● Advise on technical decisions that impact our long-term data and reporting strategy
This is an hourly, contractor role. We’ll engage you as needed to create, update, and maintain our HubSpot reporting and related automations.
