Position Title: HR Specialist – Temporary Assignment Teleworking: Yes; must be located near Phoenix, AZTravel Requirement: Remote; some onsite work may be required.Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time, TemporaryFLSA Status: Hourly/Non-ExemptPay Range: $25.00 / hour Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.This is a temporary position (up to 90 days) with the potential of becoming permanent. POSITION SUMMARY INFORMATION: DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS Job Summary: Reporting to the HR Manager, the successful candidate will implement human resources programs and onboarding procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:Coordinates the in-processing of new employees; both domestic and international.Creates personnel files for all new employees.Enter new employees and make changes to existing employees in HRIS system.Interface with hiring managersEnsure new hire paperwork is complete for employees.Conducting Virtual I9 verificationsConducting new hire orientation programs.Maintain HRIS and generate reports as necessaryMaintain HR Files and documentsLiaise with insurance carriers and providers of serviceKnowledge of COBRA and FMLA programsAnswer employee benefits and general HR questions.Ability to appropriately handle confidential information.Must possess superior Microsoft Office Suite skillsSpecial reporting and other projects, as required Minimum QualificationsUnderstanding of general human resources policies and proceduresOutstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. Costpoint) will be a plusExcellent communication and people skillsAptitude in problem-solvingDesire to work as a team with a results driven approachBSc/BA in Business administration or relevant field experiencePHR/SPHR Certified preferredAbility to handle sensitive situations professionally, with discretion and confidentialityAbility to work in a diverse environment and to communicate effectively both orally and inwriting throughout all levels of the organization.
