• * NO INTAKE CALL NEEDED ** THIS IS A SUPER URGENT REQ ** 2 People Needed Start Date: 9/15/25 (ASAP) End Date: 10/31/25 (approx) Temp ONLY: 4-6 weeks Worksite Location: Remote, U.S. Work Schedule: Mon-Fri. / Exact hours TBD Part Time: 20 to 30 hours per week Interviews REQUIRED via MS TEAMS US Citizens - REQUIRED MANAGER COMMENTS: 2 Part time contractors needed for 4 to 6 weeks to complete 600+ I-9 verifications with legacy staff from one of our acquisitions. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ HR Specialist, I-9 Verifier Job Description Summary Responsible for verifying the proper completion of Form I-9 for 600+ active employees through remote video conferences. This role includes confirming employee identity and employment eligibility, accurately completing Section 2 in Workday, and ensuring adherence to federal I-9 compliance requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Schedule and facilitate virtual I-9 verification meetings with employees via Microsoft Teams. • Review and validate identity and employment authorization documents. • Enter and maintain accurate Section 2 information in Workday. • Maintain organized records of completed I-9 forms in compliance with federal regulations. • Stay current with I-9 compliance requirements, practices, and regulatory updates. Knowledge • In-depth understanding of I-9 processes, practices, and compliance requirements. Skills • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to utilize Microsoft Teams, including breakout room setup, for efficient remote verifications. • Professional interpersonal and communication skills, with tact and diplomacy. • Effective organizational and planning skills with consistent follow-through. • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information. • Proven ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships. Technology Skills • Demonstrated proficiency with Workday. • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams for remote verification. Preferred Qualifications • Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Human Resources or a related field. • Education: Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Physical Requirements • Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer. • Ability to participate in video conferences and virtual meetings. • Ability to maintain reliable internet connectivity in a remote/home office environment. • May require occasional extended hours during peak workload periods.
