HR People Consultant

About the position

The HR People Consultant helps ensure that each client’s human capital serves the best interests of the company. The consultant will work on a variety of HR tasks including but not limited to:
Advising management on the administration of human resources policies and procedures
Serving as internal consultants by analyzing a company’s current HR programs and recommending solutions
Developing, revising, and implementing HR policies and procedures
Ensuring HR programs and services follow established policies and procedures and state/federal laws and regulations
Preparing and maintaining reports related to specific HR projects
Assisting with the development and coordination of recommended changes regarding workflow
Developing methods for compiling and analyzing data for reports and special projects
Conducting audits of HR activities to ensure compliance
Presenting training sessions related to specific HR programs

Responsibilities

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in HR, communications, business administration, or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of corporate or consultative HR exposure/experience required.
• Exposure and experience working in all facets of HR including but not limited to: recruiting/retention, culture development, learning & development, benefits & compensation management, and coaching at the jr/sr levels.
• Excellent computer skills including being proficient in MS Word/Excel/Access/Powerpoint is a must.
• Experience with benefits & compensation.
• An ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
