HR Operations Associate

IAT Insurance Group is the largest private, family-owned property and casualty insurer in the U.S. They are seeking an HR Operations Associate to provide operational support across several HR functions, including program administration and financial analyses. The role involves administering HR total rewards programs and performing statistical analysis reporting to management and external agencies.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for administering all major HR operations while supporting the HR Business Partner, Recruiting and Training and Development teamCollaborate with appropriate service owners and other key stakeholder contributing to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and documented workflowsProcess employee lifecycle transactions in Workday, including hires, job changes, transfers, and separationsMaintain accurate employee, organizational, and job data, ensuring high standards of data integrityMonitor and audit HR data to identify compliance risks, errors, and opportunities for improvementServe as a Workday subject matter expert, troubleshooting user issues and identifying root causes of errorsServe as a primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR operational and Workday-related inquiriesSupport semiannual Workday releases through regression and new functionality testingOnboarding/offboarding of all new hires to include system entry as well as communication to new hires and exiting employeesServe as a primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR operational and Workday-related inquiriesSupport HR operations and leadership by delivering downloadable reports as needed and helping stakeholders navigate dashboards, locate specific transactions, and understand the data behind HR metricsProvide support on external queries and other employee reference requestsPrepares employment related letters upon third party or employee’s requestResolves any employees’ queries, such as those related to issues like salary, labor regulations, company programs and benefits related questionsStatistical Analysis reporting to internal management (employee demographics, skills inventory, absenteeism, overtime, employee turnover, staffing budget) and external agencies (e.g., government agencies, insurance companies, unions etc.)Assists with Rewards and Recognition program implementation and administration (e.g. C.L.A.S, Giving Program, Silver, Gold and Retirement Awards, etc.)Processes Payroll, administers, calculates and funds various benefits (401k, HSA, FSA, Profit Sharing, Rewards and Recognition programs)Review timesheets and attendance records and correct inaccuraciesPrepares and submit all necessary paperwork for tax deductions, benefits, and garnishmentsConduct regular audits on payroll procedures and records and administer state and federal payroll and tax regulationsReconciles benefits invoices for paymentPerform other duties as neededSkillsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious HRIS system experienceTo qualify, applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require VISA sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment purposesBachelors or Masters degreeHRIS system experience with WorkdayBenefits26 PTO Days (Entry Level) + 12 Company Holidays = 38 Paid Days Off7% 401(k) Company Match and additional Profit SharingHybrid work environmentNumerous training and development opportunities to assist you in furthering your careerHealthcare and Wellness ProgramsOpportunity to earn performance-based bonusesCollege Loan Assistance Support PlanEducational Assistance ProgramMentorship ProgramDress for Your Day PolicyCompany OverviewIAT Insurance Group provides property-casualty insurance and surety carrier consulting services.
