HR Generalist Remote (Tampa Bay, FL area candidates only)

The Gig: As an HR Generalist you’ll serve as part a team as a trusted advisor to our clients guiding them through employment compliance, recruiting top talent, supporting benefits administration, developing people policies, and building culture-driven workplaces.You’ll Be Doing Things Like: • Consulting with clients on multistate HR compliance and best practices • Leading recruitment efforts: creating job postings, sourcing, screening, hiring • Onboarding new employees and orienting them to their manager and team • Supporting employee relations, benefits administration, leave of absences including FMLA, and state leaves. • Conducting remote employee trainings and creating employee communications You’re a Fit If You Have: • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in HR • 4+ years of HR experience (multi-state experience preferred) • Experience with HRIS/payroll systems and recruiting platforms • Knowledge of Employee Benefits programs and experience in Benefits Administration • Outstanding communication and presentation skills • MS Office 365, Teams, Adobe Pro and exposure to AI tools like Chat GPT • PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP a plus • Bilingual in English & Spanish a plusRemote Work Requirements: • Must be based in the Tampa Bay area of Florida • Fully remote with 2 to 4 overnight trips per year to Hauppauge, NY for team meetings and events • Must have a quiet, private home office setup and secure internet.Compensation &Benefits: CWS provides competitive compensation, assistance with establishing a home office, reimbursement and opportunities for professional development including a professional membership, group health benefits, 401k retirement savings plan with 3% company contribution, AFLAC, enhanced disability insurance, an employee assistance program (EAP), statutory benefits, the ability to telecommute and work flexible hours.
