Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated HR Generalist to join our dynamic team at Blooming Health. You will primarily support the HR functions for Blooming Health's Product and Engineering team based in India and Technical Operations team based in the Philippines, as well as overall HR operations and recruitment functions globally including in the headquarters in the US. You will play a pivotal role in driving recruitment and hiring and shaping the company's culture and employee experience. Your primary responsibilities will include managing the recruitment and hiring process, implementing employee success policies and plans, taking initiatives to practice the company's core values, ensuring employee satisfaction, employee training and development, performance management, benefits administration and compliance with employment related regulations.
We need an experienced HR Generalist who can come in and hit the ground running. We are looking for a person who has an entrepreneurial spirit and is comfortable with constant change as the company experiences explosive growth.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Generalist's responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Recruitment and Staffing:Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.Evaluate competitive compensation benchmarkingCoordinate and manage the entire recruitment process, from job posting to onboardingConduct interviews and collaborate with department managers to make hiring decisions
Employee Onboarding & Offboarding:
Support the onboarding and offboarding processes employeesCoordinate with various departments to ensure all necessary equipment and access are taken care of during onboarding and offboardingEnsure compliance with company onboarding and offboarding and policies
Employee Policies and Procedures:Draft, review, and update employee policies and procedures to align with legal requirements and company values.Ensure that HR policies are effectively communicated and understood by all employees.Handle employee relations and address concerns in accordance with company policies.Establishing Company Culture:Uphold and promote the company's core values, mission, and culture.Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.Foster a positive and inclusive workplace environment.Ensuring Employee Satisfaction:Collect feedback from employees regularly and strategize actionable itemsCoordinate team building activities and effective communication channelsAct as a point of contact for employee concerns and provide guidance on conflict resolutionAssist in developing and implementing employee engagement strategiesEnsure defined employee NPS score is met
Training and Development:Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs internally and externally.Facilitate training sessions on HR-related topics and compliance matters.Support employees in their career growth and skill enhancement.Performance Management:Oversee the performance management process, including regular performance evaluations.Provide guidance to managers on performance-related issues and improvement plans.Benefits Administration:Administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations related to employee benefitsLegal & Compliance:Stay abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations.Assist in ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations in India, Philippines and any other non US jurisdictions where we have employeesHelp maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations.Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
Administrative Support:
Handle administrative tasks related to HR functions, such as maintaining employee records, processing payroll, and managing benefits.Ensure accurate and timely documentation and reporting.Assist with budget planning and management for HR-related expenses
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum of 2 years of experience in HR, with a significant focus on technical recruitment or experience in the tech industryBasic knowledge of local labor laws and regulations in India, and ability to learn quickly for other jurisdictionsExperience in managing HR functions such as compliance, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, and administrationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisions, take initiative and ownership of project, well as work effectively as part of a teamStrong organizational and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in HR software and toolsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information
Preferred Qualifications:
Extensive experience working with engineering and development teams.
Compensation:
$9,000- $10,000 USD annually
