The role involves administrative support, client HR projects, and collaboration with senior consultants to enhance client service and internal team efficiency.ResponsibilitiesTriaging calls and emails through the RLB People line, responding to inquiries and directing items to the right team memberManaging the RLB People team calendarMaintaining organized electronic filing systemsPreparing engagement letters for client projectsScheduling, organizing, and preparing materials for client training sessionsCoordinating and administering the Foundations of Leadership Excellence training program, ensuring tasks are completed on timeSupporting team preparation for speaking events, webinars, and presentationsAssisting in the creation of materials for HR education sessions, workshops, and communicationsParticipating in team meetings and helping track project timelines using Trello and ClickUpSupporting the implementation of new policies, tools, and processes within the business unitAssisting with STAR time entry, invoicing, and helping ensure accurate and timely billingTracking and monitoring engagement quotes, follow-up, and win-rate detailsAssisting with client consulting deliverables through formatting, proofreading, research, presentation support, and project coordinationAdministering and coordinating client HR programs such as engagement surveys, performance processes, HRIS administration, orientation support, and related activitiesProviding excellent client support across recruitment, training, health & safety, policy development, and legislative complianceConducting first-level recruitment, including intake meetings, resume screening, pre-screens, testing, and reference checks, in partnership with Senior ConsultantsSupporting clients through HR Health Checks and the HR Quick Start ProgramManaging client handbook engagements from intake through drafting and revisions alongside Senior ConsultantsConducting research and gathering data to support personalized client recommendationsOffering ongoing day-to-day support for clients (including on-call inquiries or short-term onsite assignments)Assisting with onboarding through presentation creation, new hire training, and administrationSupporting HRIS and database administration for clients for whom we serve as an external HR departmentParticipating in professional development to stay current on HR trends and compliance updatesContributing to thought leadership through blog writing and/or speaking engagements as neededBuilding strong internal teamwork and trusted client relationshipsSkillsDiploma, degree, or post-grad education in Human Resources1–3 years of HR or related experienceStrong understanding of HR legislation and regulatory environmentsExcellent communication skills and attention to detailAbility to prioritize, multitask, and adapt quicklyStrong leadership, problem-solving, and coaching skillsA proactive mindset and a solutions-focused approachValid transportation required for travel to client sites or RLB officesCHRP in progress (designation an asset but not required)Comfort with Microsoft Office, Teams/video platforms, and HRIS systems (asset)Company OverviewRLB provides accounting services.
