Job Summary/Purpose

The HR Business Partner Manageris a mid-level HR leadership role responsible for partnering with leaders and employees to align people strategies with business objectives across designated business units. This position collaborates across the HR function to deliver strategic and value-added support that drives organizational effectiveness and successful business outcomes.

This role serves as a trusted HR advisor and supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of people programs aligned with business priorities. As a leader within the HR organization, the Manager, HR Business Partners also provides guidance and mentorship to junior HR Business Partner team members while supporting leaders up to the VP/GM level within the business.

The ideal candidate is a proactive and adaptable HR professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, navigates ambiguity effectively, builds strong relationships, and is passionate about supporting high-performing teams and a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities:
• Partner with leaders and employees to support talent initiatives, workforce planning, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness
• Provide HR guidance and coaching on employee relations, performance management, career development, disciplinary actions, and HR policy interpretation
• Analyze workforce trends and HR data to deliver insights, recommendations, and business-focused solutions
• Support compliance, labor relations, and change management initiatives in partnership with Legal, HR teams, and business leaders
• Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence and stakeholders to support strategic HR initiatives and employee experience programs
• Facilitate workforce planning, succession planning, organizational restructures, and training initiatives
• Develop presentations, communications, and recommendations related to HR and people programs
• Mentor and support junior HR Business Partner team members while helping drive collaboration and continuity across the HRBP function
• Build strong relationships across all levels of the organization while navigating complex employee and business situations with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment
• Lead HR-related projects and initiatives to support operational effectiveness and business objectives.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 5+ years of HR or related experience with a degree required; 7+ years preferred. Candidates without a degree must have 8+ years of related HR experience.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in the nuclear industry and/or power plant environments.
• Proven experience leading Human Resources teams.
• Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to align HR strategies with business objectives
• Advanced knowledge of change management principles and experience leading organizational transformation initiatives.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management skills
• Experience supporting employee relations, compliance, and HR policy interpretation
• Advanced project management skills with experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
• Ability to analyze workforce data and translate insights into actionable business recommendations
• Experience supporting talent management, workforce planning, and employee engagement initiatives
• Strong problem-solving, influencing, and decision-making capabilities in complex business environments
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams and functions.
