This role is ideal for professionals with strong organizational skills, a structured mindset, and a passion for operational excellence. As an HR Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate employee records, supporting recruitment efforts for support staff, and driving consistency across our job documentation. You will also contribute to improving internal processes by consolidating workforce data and enhancing the efficiency of key HR workflows.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral HR AdministrationAssist with day-to-day HR operations, including employee documentation and file managementMaintain and update employee records in both digital and physical formatsEnsure proper organization of all HR documents in the shared folders for ease of access and complianceJob Description ManagementConsolidate, standardize, and update all existing job descriptionsCreate a centralized repository in a shared folder with version-controlled and properly named filesCoordinate with department heads to ensure JD alignment with current role expectationsSupport Staff RecruitmentProactively source CVs for open support staff roles using job portals, LinkedIn, and internal databasesScreen and organize profiles for review by the Talent Acquisition leadFollow up with hiring managers for feedback and next stepsRecruitment CoordinationDraft and send invitations to internal recruitment training sessionsTrack attendance and manage responses for scheduled trainingsFollow up with interviewers to collect timely and structured interview feedbackMaintain a tracking sheet for interviews and feedback completion statusEmployee Background RecordkeepingReview employee CVs (current and new hires) to extract:Total years of experience in management consulting (if any)Name of the last employerPopulate and maintain an internal master file for quick reference and reportingEnsure data accuracy through manual verification and regular updatesCore CompetenciesBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field3-5 years of relevant experience in HR support or coordinationStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word); familiarity with SharePoint or cloud-based storage tools is a plusExcellent organizational and communication skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalismWhat we offerAt Contango, we offer a collaborative and fast-paced environment where you will work alongside talented professionals driving impactful change in the region.
