HR Administrator
We have an excellent opportunity to join our HR team as a Group HR Administrator at Newsquest Media Group Ltd. This role provides high-quality HR administration and customer service support to managers and employees across the UK.You will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of HR processes across the employee lifecycle, acting as a trusted first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries. This is an ideal opportunity for an organised, people-focused individual with HR or administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is keen to develop their HR career.Newsquest Media Group Ltd is the UK’s leading local news publisher, with more than 200 news brands and 29 magazines across print and digital. Key Responsibilities
Acting as the first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries, providing accurate first-line advice on policies and benefitsDelivering general HR administration across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contractual changes and leaversPreparing and issuing offer letters, contracts and other HR documentationMaintaining and updating HR systems and personnel files, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality and GDPR complianceSupporting onboarding and induction processes for new startersMinute taking as requiredWorking closely with colleagues across the HR team to ensure a consistent and high-quality service
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skillsAbility to manage a high volume of administrative tasks and prioritise competing deadlinesProfessional and discreet approach when handling confidential informationStrong communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationshipsGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office and confidence using HR or other business systemsA CIPD qualification is advantageous but not essential.
